The Shepherd Charity Foundation

The Shepherd Charity Foundation is a non-profit organization with an entirely volunteer staff. This charity foundation is established in Nijkerk, The Netherlands with the notary approval according to the Dutch Laws under number 320 959 72 article 24 item 4. 

“Stichting De Herder” ( Shepherd Charity Foundation ) is an independent charity foundation. It’s main aim is achieving humanitarian goals in Iraq. It tries to help orphans and the needed regardless of their religion ( Christian, Moslim, Jazidees)or nationality ( Syriac_ Chaldo_Assyrians, Arabs, Kurds, ,..etc). 

Only because little is said about the difficulties the Christian are facing in Iraq, we have dedicated large spaces on this website to unveil the atrocities that are committed on these minorities in Iraq. At the moment our efforts are focused mainly on the Nineveh Province, the provincial town Mosul and the surrounding villages. We have selected that province because we have trust-worthy people who can implement our goals in that province. 

We are dedicated to providing support and care to the Iraqi orphans and those children whose fathers are dead; we also provide our support to those who depend on charities in their lives, e.g. widows and handicaps. We also try to help those who are victims of wars or the drastic situation. 

The Shepherd Charity Foundation is established on the 6th , March 2002 and it is registered according to the Dutch Laws under number 320 959 72 article 24 item 4. 

Since our charity started in a period when foreign humanitarian charities were facing problems and many had to leave Iraq, we had decided to keep our activities unveiled. We are ready to cooperate with other charities to support the victims of the present situation.
